Assembly
- Body: Sew the body-legs piece onto the bottom of the head, aligning center front.
- Nose: Sew onto the head between R9 and R11, centered between the eyes.
Stuff the nose firmly with polyfill while sewing.
-
Embroider the mouth and nose tip with a thinner strand of black yarn (3 steps)
- Step 1 — Horizontal mouth stitch: Bring the needle up from inside the head at one side of the nose base. Pull it out, then insert it back in at the other side to lay one straight horizontal stitch across the bottom of the nose. Do not pull tight yet.
- Step 2 — Smile lift: With the same yarn still attached, bring the needle back up through the center point of that horizontal stitch, pushing from below and pulling upward. As the yarn tightens, the center of the horizontal stitch lifts and the two corners curve outward and upward, forming a smile. Anchor the yarn here so the shape holds.
- Step 3 — Nose tip: Continue with the same yarn up to R1, the very tip of the white nose piece. Work several satin stitches to fill a small solid triangle. Secure and trim all yarn ends on the inside of the head.
-
Ears: Sew onto the head between R4 and R7 on both sides, white side facing forward.
Arms: Sew onto both sides of the body between R9 and R11.
